I have a sitecom CN-104 usb to serial cable v2.
I installed javacomm, I installed MAC OSX PL2302 driver. After this I installed the JPL2alpha5 software. when starting the software and trying to connect I get an error message saying: No serial ports where found. this may be because you do not have access permissions.
I am running OSX 10.5.6
My Device is named: /dev/tty.PL2303-00002FDD
In my system monitor it is displayed as follows:
