When I plug the USB Midi cable into the USB port (just the cable by itself, not connected to any musical gear on the other end yet), all I ever get is a 'USB Device Not Recognized' message from Windows.

OK, I looked up Synthesia and see now that it is a third party instructional program. I want to use my keyboard with FL studio or etc. I tried many things including downloading xmidi, rimio, and Yamaha drivers, but bone worked. Question, can vieacon just drag viewcon midi usb midi audio file onto a Reaper track, and hear it when you press play? Google is your friend. As it’s one of those off-brand device I do not think there is a website I can go to to look for drivers. Apologies in advance for insulting anyone’s intelligence, but if the usb cable looks like this picture, the DIN marked out connects to the keyboard socket marked in and vice versa. Getting a new TV and placing it viewcon midi a different spot than where the old TV is and I realized the coaxial cable coming from the wall isn’t going midii reach the new location for cable box’s “Cable IN” connection.
