Question: Q: Mavericks driver for ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet The drivers that were working under 10.8 do not work with 10.9. The dongle is recognized and the driver is loaded and appears correct in System Information, but it will not recognize a known good ethernet cable plugged in. Note: Mac OS X usually saves the files to the Downloads folder that is associated with your user account and is located on the drive where Mac OS X is installed (for example, Macintosh HD Users your_name Downloads).
