We want you to enjoy your purchase to the fullest, and that starts with a few easy registration steps. Lg flatron e2041 (This was not my first choice but it was the next best thing available in the computer store I visited). 1600 X 900 Resolution (16:9 Aspect Ratio). May 24, 2017 1) I installed the monitor drivers that came with the LG monitor. I was previously using just the display “plug and play” drivers from Microsoft that it picked automaticly. 2) I also installed the ForteManager software that came with the LG.

Hey folks,
Posted here a few days ago to no avail and had no success in the mean time replacing parts or re-installing drivers.
So left my PC alone for an hour or so and came back to the resolution on my LG Flatron E2211 being rather out of sync. I had not touched the PC or done anything to change any graphics properties.
Upon going into the Screen Resolution settings Windows for some unknown reason thinks that it is a Generic Non-PnP monitor and therefore has reset the resolution. It claims it is in 1024x768 but clearly isn't.
Upon consulting google I have tried various methods such as unplugging it, buying a new adapter for the VGA cable, re-installing the GPU (Radeon 7770H) drivers and various other things to absolutely no avail. I have a HD TV plugged into the HDMI port of the GPU, tried unplugging this as well but to no avail once again. It has basically rendered my monitor completely useless which is pretty annoying as you can imagine.
Could really do with a hand here losing my mind trying to fix this stupid bug.
Cheers,
Paul
